RDM releases new remote deposit platform for mobile devices

WATERLOO--RDM Corporation, a leading provider of specialized software and hardware products for electronic payment processing, announced today the new release of its patented Simply Deposit Mobile (SDM) remote deposit capture (RDC) solution for mobile devices. The new release adds remittance and general document image capture with data entry capabilities to its already leading-edge mobile platform.

"Financial institutions of all sizes can now market mobile RDC to a wider set of customers across more vertical markets," said Harry Rose vice president of sales at RDM Corporation. "SDM provides mobile users with check and remittance capture capabilities similar to our comprehensive desktop RDC solutions. This provides financial institutions the ability to differentiate themselves and increase customer acquisition and retention."

Ground-breaking functionality
Financial institutions can more readily address mobile workforces such as insurance agents, property management companies and delivery drivers to boost productivity with the unparalleled functionality of SDM. In addition to capturing and keying check amount and check data, smartphone and tablet users can optionally capture remittance documents and key data into customized entry fields.

Flexible platform
SDM is certified to run on Apple and Android devices, and can easily be branded according to a financial institution's requirements. For financial institutions that wish to develop their own mobile or desktop applications, RDM's RDC platform provides a set of software interfaces (APIs) for seamless integration into its RDC platform.
